NLA Transportation Strategic Sourcing practice involves rate and service negotiations, and engineers enhanced transportation asset utilization to reduce provider costs, and correspondingly, client costs. - International air cargo feasibility study for Sara Lee Knit Products, Champion Products, Sara Lee Hosiery (et al), including all aspects of international transportation (air-land-sea), Plan 807 and Plan 948 and NAFTA, sourcing in the Caribbean, Central America, and South America, as well as all related manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics operations within the domestic United States.
- Engineered national flow distribution infrastructure for Milwaukee Valve Company, the nations’ sixth largest manufacturer of valves, and the largest producer of valves for the United States Navy Submarine Fleet, and the supported it by custom designing and implementing sophisticated distribution software
Reorganized logistics, to include private fleet and outsourced transportation, for Sullivan Graphics, a $1 billion printing company with majority Unites States market share of newspaper inserts. - Transportation reengineering for Giddings & Lewis, American subsidiary of $40 billion Thyssen-Krupp; restructured transportation management by eliminating 3PL and building internal capabilities.
